Moxie's Sustainability Philosophy:
Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails employs a "full-circle approach" and is committed to sustainable sourcing and working with local and artisan producers every day. Recycling and eco-friendly practices form the core of our business philosophy simply because we whole-heartedly believe it's the right thing to do.
Many of the building materials used in the construction use high percentages of recycled or reclaimed content (such as the steel, reclaimed wood), are high-performing and energy efficient (variant speed hood system, Energy-Star kitchen equipment, in-house water filtration system for bottling still and sparkling waters, LED light fixtures in service areas, Dyson air hand dryers, etc.) or help lighten our footprint (cardboard compactor, recycling program, eco-friendly to-go paper goods, etc.).
For sourcing, Chef Tom and his team use as many local, organic, natural and sustainable ingredients as possible, and make decisions every day to bring in the best of available items from herbs and vegetables, to meats, fishes and cheeses, as just a few examples.
